In order to thoroughly implement the policies for international students in China, give full play to the positive role of "promoting learning, teaching, and innovation through competitions", promote the in - depth integration of diverse campus cultures, and enhance international students' understanding of China's development achievements, the College of Future Studies has decided to hold the "Gorgeous Splendor on the Silk Road・Building the Future Together" themed speech contest. III. Competition Schedule

1. 报名与作品提交阶段：即日起至2025年6月2日（截止时间为当日24:00，逾期提交将不予受理）。参赛学生在此期间完成报名并提交演讲视频及演讲稿。

Registration and Submission Period: From now until June 2, 2025 (The deadline is 24:00 on that day. Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted). Participating students should complete registration and submit the speech video and script during this period.

2. 初审阶段：2025年6月期间，评审委员会将秉持公平、公正、公开的原则，对提交的作品进行初步评审。具体评审进度及后续安排将通过官方QQ群组通知，请参赛学生务必保持关注。

Preliminary Review Period: During June 2025, the review committee will conduct a preliminary review of the submitted works adhering to the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness. The specific review progress and subsequent arrangements will be notified through the official QQ group. Participating students are requested to pay close attention.

本次演讲比赛分中文组别和英文组别。参赛选手需根据所选组别要求进行比赛。

This speech contest is divided into a Chinese - language group and an English - language group. Participants are required to compete in strict accordance with the requirements of their selected group.

参赛报名相关要求如下：

The relevant registration requirements are as follows:

1. 材料提交：参赛者须在报名截止日期前，将填写完整的报名汇总表、MP4 格式演讲视频及演讲稿，一并发送至指定邮箱seminternational@hit.edu.cn。所提交材料须完整、准确，因材料缺失或错误导致的一切后果，由参赛者自行承担。

Material Submission: Participants must send the completed registration summary form, speech video in MP4 format, and speech script to the designated email address seminternational@hit.edu.cn before the registration deadline. All submitted materials must be complete and accurate. Participants shall bear all consequences caused by missing or incorrect materials.

2. 邮件命名：邮件主题统一按照 “主题编号+中文组/英文组+学院+学号+全名（参考护照）”的格式命名。例如：“主题5+英文组+经济管理学院+ 2024331234+XXX” 。未按规定格式命名邮件，将可能影响初审结果，由此产生的责任由参赛者自行负责。

Email Naming: The subject of the email should be named uniformly in the format of "Theme Number+Chinese/English Group+School+Student ID+Full Name (refer to passport)". For example:

"Theme 5+English Group+School of Economics and Management+2024331234+XXX".

Failure to name the email according to the specified format may affect the result of the preliminary review, and participants shall be responsible for any resulting consequences.

3. QQ 群组加入：所有参赛者必须加入官方QQ群组778722743，并将群备注修改为“学院+学号+全名”。赛事相关通知、安排等重要信息均通过该群组发布，未按要求入群或修改备注，导致未能及时获取信息的，责任自负。

Joining the QQ Group: All participants are required to join the official QQ group 778722743 and modify their group nickname to "School+Student ID+Full Name". Important information such as competition - related announcements and arrangements will be released through this group. Participants shall be responsible for any failure to obtain information in a timely manner due to not joining the group or modifying the nickname as required.

4. 语言要求：中文组使用中文演讲，英文组使用英文演讲。

Language Requirements: For the Chinese - language group, the speech should be delivered in Chinese. For the English - language group, it should be delivered in English.

5. 内容要求：演讲内容应紧密围绕给定主题，结合实际案例、数据或自身经历，增强感染力与说服力。突出对主题的独特理解与感悟，紧密围绕中国发展理念，升华演讲主题，体现对大湾区新质生产力发展重要意义的深刻认识。严禁使用 AI 辅助创作演讲内容，否则取消参赛资格。

6. Content Requirements: The speech content should be closely centered around the given theme, and practical cases, data, or personal experiences can be combined to enhance the appeal and persuasiveness. Highlight the unique understanding and perception of the theme, closely focus on China's development concept to sublimate the theme of the speech, and reflect a deep understanding of the important significance of the development of new - quality productivity in the Greater Bay Area. The use of AI to assist in creating the speech content is strictly prohibited. Otherwise, the participation qualification will be cancelled.

7. 时长要求：演讲时长控制在5-8分钟。

Duration Requirements: The speech duration should be controlled within 5-8 minutes.

8. 视频及演讲稿要求：见报名方式中相关格式要求。

视频需画质清晰、声音清楚，演讲者全身出镜，背景简洁大方，格式为MP4，文件大小不超过2GB。参赛者须上传视频文件，严禁提交视频链接，任何形式的链接提交均不予受理。

The video should feature clear visuals and audio, with the speaker fully visible and a simple, elegant background. It must be in MP4 format and not exceed 2GB in size. Participants are required to upload the video file directly. Submissions in the form of video links will not be accepted under any circumstances.

演讲稿中文组标题居中、加粗，采用宋体二号字；正文使用宋体小四，1.5倍行距，页边距上下左右均为2cm，段落首行缩进2字符，标题下方依次注明姓名、学号、专业、指导老师中文姓名。英文组标题居中、加粗，字体为Times New Roman，字号18；正文为Times New Roman 12号字，其余格式与中文组一致。

For the Chinese - language speech script, the title should be centered, bold, and in Song typeface size 二号. The body text should be in Song typeface size 小四，with 1.5 - line spacing, 2cm margins on all sides, and the first line of each paragraph indented by 2 characters. Below the title, the name, student ID, major, and the Chinese name of the supervisor should be clearly indicated. For the English - language group, the title should be centered, bold, in Times New Roman size 18, and the body text in Times New Roman size 12, with the same formatting rules as the Chinese - language group.

演讲稿文件名、视频文件名均须按照邮件格式命名。

Both the speech script file names and video file names must follow the email naming format.

五、奖项设置

本次比赛中文组别和英文组别分别设置以下奖项，旨在表彰在演讲中表现卓越的国际生，同时感谢为比赛付出心血的指导老师。

This competition sets the following awards for both the Chinese - language group and the English - language group, aiming to commend the outstanding international students in the speech and express gratitude to the instructors who have dedicated their efforts to the competition.

1. “丝路华彩・卓越演说家” 一等奖：每组各1名，颁发荣誉证书，该奖项象征着参赛者在演讲内容深度、语言表达、舞台表现等方面均达到顶尖水平，是对其卓越演讲能力的高度认可。

"Gorgeous Splendor on the Silk Road・Outstanding Orator" First Prize: One winner in each group will be awarded a honorary certificate. This award symbolizes that the contestants have reached the top level in terms of speech content depth, language expression, stage performance, etc., and is a high recognition of their outstanding public speaking ability.

2. “丝路华彩・风采演说家” 二等奖：每组各2名，颁发荣誉证书，代表着参赛者在演讲中展现出了独特的个人魅力与出色的演讲技巧，获得广泛赞誉。

"Gorgeous Splendor on the Silk Road・Charming Orator" Second Prize: Two winners in each group will be awarded a honorary certificate, representing that the contestants have shown unique personal charm and excellent speech skills in the speech and have won wide acclaim.

3. “丝路华彩・新锐演说家” 三等奖：每组各3名，颁发荣誉证书，肯定参赛者在演讲比赛中的积极表现与潜力，鼓励其在未来继续提升演讲能力。

4. 优秀指导老师奖：指导学生获得一、二、三等奖的老师和中国学生，将被授予 “丝路华彩”优秀指导老师荣誉证书，以此感谢他们在学生备赛过程中，于选题指导、内容打磨、演讲技巧提升等方面给予的悉心指导与大力支持。

Outstanding Instructor Awards: teachers and Chinese students who guide students to win the first, second, and third prizes will be awarded the honorary certificate of "Gorgeous Splendor on the Silk Road・Outstanding Instructor" for instructors, to express gratitude for their meticulous guidance and strong support in topic selection, content refinement, and speech skill improvement during the students' preparation for the competition.

In terms of the school's selection for honors and awards, the winning certificates of the speech contest will serve as a strong proof for students to showcase their elegance and obtain honors, helping them stand out in campus development.

六、指导老师相关规定

VII. Regulations for Instructors

国际生可自行选择老师或中国学生作为指导老师，指导老师信息需在参赛作品中明确注明，包括姓名、所在学部/学院、联系方式等。

International students can choose teachers or Chinese students as their instructors on their own. The information of the instructors, including name, school/college, contact information, etc., should be clearly indicated in the participating works.

指导老师应全程参与指导工作，在选题方向把控、内容深度挖掘、语言精准表达、演讲技巧训练（针对演讲比赛）等方面给予国际生专业且细致的指导，帮助提升参赛作品质量。

Instructors should participate in the guidance work throughout the process, providing international students with professional and detailed guidance in terms of topic selection, in - depth content exploration, accurate language expression, and speech skill training (for the speech contest) to help improve the quality of the participating works.

指导老师与参赛学生应保持密切沟通，定期交流作品进展与修改意见，确保作品符合比赛要求与主题方向。

Instructors and participating students should maintain close communication, regularly exchange the progress of the works and modification suggestions to ensure that the works meet the competition requirements and theme directions.

七、注意事项

VIII. Notes

参赛作品必须为原创，严禁抄袭、剽窃他人成果，且不得使用AI辅助创作内容。一经发现，立即取消参赛资格，并按照学校相关学术不端处理办法严肃处理。

The participating works must be original. Plagiarism and copying of others' works are strictly prohibited, and the use of AI to assist in content creation is not allowed. Once discovered, the participation qualification will be immediately cancelled, and it will be dealt with seriously in accordance with the school's relevant regulations on academic misconduct.

所有参赛学生务必严格遵守比赛时间安排，逾期提交报名材料或作品将视为自动放弃参赛资格，不再受理。

All participating students must strictly abide by the competition schedule. Late submission of registration materials or works will be regarded as automatic withdrawal from the competition, and no further acceptance will be made.

提交的参赛作品及相关材料中涉及的个人信息应真实、准确、完整，如因信息不实导致的一切后果，由参赛学生自行承担。

The personal information involved in the submitted participating works and related materials should be true, accurate, and complete. All consequences caused by false information shall be borne by the participating students themselves.
